Sunflower Electric Power Corporation is a wholesale electric generation and transmission utility headquartered in Hays, Kan. At Sunflower, our focus goes beyond just supplying wholesale electricity – it's about serving our seven member distribution utilities. Every day, our members deliver reliable electricity to thousands of Kansans and empower communities across central and western Kansas.

Sunflower exists to serve the needs of its member utilities by providing safe, low-cost, reliable power and additional services to its members. We accomplish this through our high voltage electric transmission network, qualified and dedicated personnel, planning, effective system operations, maintenance programs, and an economic, reliable power supply.
