Join the Midland Marketing team! We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to manage our Accounts Payable processes. This position offers a flexible schedule but must be performed on-site at our Hays, Kansas office.
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Compensation: $15.00 – $20.00 / hour (Commensurate with experience and status)
The Role
At its core, this is an Accounts Payable position. However, we are open to both PT and FT applicants:

• Part-Time: Focuses strictly on the AP duties listed below.
• Full-Time: Includes AP duties plus additional accounting support and administrative tasks (to be discussed during the interview).

• Receive invoices and vouchers to be paid. Check that coding is correct and invoices have been approved before entering.
• Double-check invoices for accuracy and take any discounts offered for timely payment.
• Schedule invoices to pay weekly as well as the 10th of the month to meet vendor terms.
• Reconcile vendor statements and contact vendors to correct any issues noted in the reconciliation process.
• Prepare worksheets and work papers for auditors as requested.
• Summarizes details in separate ledger or computer files and transfers data to general ledger.
• Perform various customer service duties, including over the phone and in-person.

• Experience in an office setting preferred.
• Experience with customer service duties preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Very high attention to detail.
